Interpol (nom choisi en référence à la police internationale et par jeu de mots sur « à l'intérieur de Paul », en allusion à leur chanteur/leader) est un groupe rock de New York, É.-U., formé en 1998, qui a beaucoup été comparé à Joy Division. Les membres du quatuor affirment par contre ne pas en avoir écouté suffisamment pour avoir été véritablement influencés.

U2 est un groupe de rock irlandais issu de la génération punk et new wave. Depuis le milieu des années 1980, il s'est imposé sur la scène mondiale comme l'un des meilleurs groupes de rock.
