Interpol (nom choisi en référence à la police internationale et par jeu de mots sur « à l'intérieur de Paul », en allusion à leur chanteur/leader) est un groupe rock de New York, É.-U., formé en 1998, qui a beaucoup été comparé à Joy Division. Les membres du quatuor affirment par contre ne pas en avoir écouté suffisamment pour avoir été véritablement influencés.
