John Dawson "Johnny" Winter III (né à Beaumont, Texas) est un guitariste et chanteur de blues américain. Il est sans nul doute l’un de plus célèbres guitariste de blues blanc du XXème siècle. Fin 1968, il passe de l’anonymat le plus total à l’état de révélation mondiale en moins de 15 jours. Il a été classé comme un des «100 meilleurs guitaristes de tous les temps» par le magazine Rolling Stone. Aujourd'hui il est une légende vivante et il est le guitariste chanteur le plus respecté au monde depuis plus de 40 ans par ses pairs.

Warren Haynes est un guitariste et chanteur américain de Asheville. À la fin des années 70 et au début des années 80, il participe à différents groupes : Ricochet, Rich Hippies, David Alan Coe Band. De 1986 à 1989, il joue dans le Dickey Betts Band en compagnie du batteur Matt Abts. Le 28 juin 1989, il rejoint le Allman Brothers Band où il rencontre le bassiste Allen Woody. Avec Allen Woody et Matt Abts, il fonde en 1995 le groupe Gov't Mule (il restera cependant membre à part entière du Allman Brothers Band jusqu'au 26 mars 1997). Il est aussi membre du groupe The Dead (ce qui reste de Greateful Dead). Warren Haynes est classé aujourd’hui par le magazine Rolling Stone dans le top 30 des plus grands guitaristes de tous les temps. Un guitariste d'exception !!!
